Star Wars:  Episode I - The Phantom Menace 3D date night.  This was my first time seeing it, and I actually really liked it, although, I needed an interpreter for Jar Jar Binks.  It was so sweet to be able to share it with Nick since it is his favorite movie.  I can't wait to watch the rest of them with him!

 I saw this old schoolhouse turned into an antique mall on my way home from a job in McMinnville.  The thing that made me giddyup U-turn was the badass slide (or so I thought) on the side of the building.  I went inside to inquire about it and (I'm not even joking) see if I could slide on down to Fun Town.  Unfortunately, the lady I chatted with shattered my dreams and said it was just an old fire escape.  Wah-waaaaah.



Doors & Balentine's Day

 I caught Nick checking on his garden.  So sweet.  He does this all the time.  Someone is going to be an incredible papa someday.

 I love these doors at our church.  I also love what goes on on the other side of these doors, and I especially love what goes on in our hearts when we exit these doors.

Oh, Balentine's Day.  (Nope, I didn't misspell it.  That's how we roll in this fam.)  We aren't fancy and just love each other extra hard on 2/14.  Below are some pics of our sweet little date.

So this restaurant has a ton of great band posters all over the walls, and we just happened to have been seated at the perfect Valentine's Day booth!  You know I was giddy, right?

Our little snap-and-shoot camera has this handsfree smile detector setting on it, and this is us trying to figure out how to use it...

Apparently this is how big you have to smile in order for it to work properly...

And finally a somewhat decent one.  I told Nick it looks like Stuart Little took this.

Also, last night we said goodbye to our favorite Puerto Rican, Omar.  He is moving to Alabama but, luckily, only temporarily.  He has been an incredible mentor for Nick at 24 Hour Fitness and a wonderful friend to both of us.  We are going to miss his thick accent and spicy sense of humor!
